POWERING THE FUTURE: DCPI & ABB Iloilo Roadshow 2023

Following the success of its event in Iloilo City last October 2023, Distribution & Control Products, Inc. (DCPI) together with ABB, Inc. brought the next leg of its electrifying roadshow event in the City of Smiles–Bacolod City.
At a different location but with the same goal, DCPI and ABB are once again joining forces to demonstrate their expertise and solutions in the electrical distribution field, aiming to introduce these leading organizations and connect with the companies shaping, this time, Bacolod’s electrical industry.
The event took place at the esteemed Park Inn by Radisson Hotel located at SM City Bacolod Complex, Bacolod City on April 19, 2024, which was attended by numerous companies in the electrical distribution field–from electrical contractors, to distributors alike, supply store owners, and electrical consultants.
Prominent Figures and Perspectives
Hosted by Mr. Arjel Eiron Escarez from DCPI, the event kicked off with valuable insights from DCPI’s President and General Manager, Mr. Vincent M. Tiamsic, welcoming the attendees and paving the way for a significant day of collaboration.
Key representatives from both organizations—Mr. Sandi Emia and Mr. John Christian Subala for DCPI, and Mr. Joseph Banzon from ABB—presented company introductions, showcasing their companies’ profiles and innovative solutions.
Following the introductions, Mr. Job Mayo IV presented a deep dive on ABB’s product offerings and industry solutions with the themes Intelligent Distribution in Buildings, Shock Protection, and Overvoltage Protection, focusing on Residual Current Devices and Power Meters, as well as other ABB Accessibility Tools (Partner Hub and E-Configure).
With the expertise of both organizations, the day was truly packed with heaps of valuable information and beneficial solutions to industry challenges. More so, not only the minds were filled with the numerous prizes and giveaways given out during the program while enjoying the great delicacies the city offers.
Once again, the event concluded with valuable insights from Mr. Tiamsic, who thanked all attendees for their time. He expressed optimism about future connections and collaborations that the event seeks to foster.
